The winners of the international competition "Write your question for the Geographical Dictation - 2022" have been selected!
The expert jury of the Russian Geographical Society chose the best out of 80 finalists whose questions were selected by the Contest Committee.
This year the winners are:
Valentina Stepanova, Cheboksary (Chuvash Republic);
Arina Dodilnaya, Maykop (Republic of Adygea);
Nikolai Shalaev, Kaliningrad;
Alexey Vinnikov, Uray (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra);
Anna Saperkina, Shumerlya (Chuvash Republic).
The winners of the contest "Write your question for the Geographical Dictation - 2022" will be invited to the central venue for the Dictation 2022.
Additionally, within the program there were nine more blitz theme competitions. They were focused on geography of Russia under the topics consonant with the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

The questions of the winners will be included in Dictation-2022 along with questions from the Russian Geographical Society experts.
All authors of the best questions will receive Certificate and will be awarded with the main prize - a tourist trip with an open date along one of the routes recommended by the Russian Geographical Society.
In total 532 questions took part in the competition this year.
269 questions from 59 regions of Russia, as well as nine questions from seven foreign countries - Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the USA, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, were received for the international competition "Write your own question for the Geographical Dictation".
16 regional branches of the Russian Geographical Society took part in the regional stage of the competition, 139 questions were accepted.
Participants from 32 regions of Russia sent 115 questions to the thematic competitions on nine topics.
